Coinbase Unleashes 24/7 XRP and SOL Futures Trading

Coinbase Institutional has announced that its futures for XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA) will now be tradable 24/7.     

Prior to this, round-the-clock trading was only available for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) futures. 

The leading US exchange has also branched out into commodity futures, launching products for silver and natural gas. It will soon launch equity index futures as well. 

The trading platform will offer perpetual-style futures for BTC and ETH. 

As reported by U.Today, Coinbase started offering futures contracts for XRP (both nano and standard versions) in April.  

Prior to this, Coinbase Derivatives moved to self-certify XRP futures with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Earlier this year, Chicago-based futures giant CME Group rolled out futures for XRP and Solana.
